Gill-Villeans at Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

Kim Gill's Grade 4-6 Special Education Junior Area Composite Class at Ryerson P.S., Canada is also trialing this by creating an app of their own. Kim describes her class like this:

This is a class for students that have been identified through the I.P.R.C. process as exceptional learners with mild intellectual disabilities. I am not a fan of these educational labels, so I call our class Gill-Ville. Gill-Ville is a place where all students can be successful and we celebrate our unique ways of learning. We are like a family in Gill-Ville and once a child joins our “exclusive club” they become a Gill-Villean.

Kim is blogging about her class's progress over here.

The Gill-Villeans are invited to contribute questions and comments on any of the pages of this wiki and add additional information specific to their own app on the Gill-Villean wiki page.
